Our Guarantee to You:
Your Montana rifle has been built to exceed your expectations. All components are carefully inspected and assembled to meet the highest level of quality assurance and provide you with great customer experience. Each rifle is 100% MADE IN THE USA and handcrafted in Kalispell, Montana with custom components designed to deliver consistent accuracy and performance. It is our sincere hope that your Montana rifle will provide you with generations of reliable service. To make sure we are here for you when you need us, we provide a “Limited Lifetime Warranty” to the original owner for the life of the rifle. This warranty guarantees that your rifle's action, barrel, and stock are free from manufacturer defects and ensures that your rifle will function how it was meant to. Our Limited Lifetime Warranty is made to the original owner only and will require proof of purchase. Unfortunately, we can't ensure our rifles against normal wear and tear, barrel life, or damage from misuse or unauthorized repairs or customization. After we evaluate your rifle and determine a valid manufacturer defect, we will fix or replace the rifle at our discretion.
Montana Rifle Company (MRC) warrants its rifles against defects in material and workmanship. Under normal use and service, the barrel, action, and stock will be free from physical defects in material and workmanship for the life of the rifle, or the product will be repaired or replaced as determined solely by Montana Rifle Company. Montana Rifle Company provides a Limited Lifetime Warranty only to the person or entity that originally purchased the rifle from Montana Rifle Company or its authorized retailers.
This warranty does not apply if:
- The serial number label is missing or unrecognizable;
- The rifle has been modified or repaired by any unauthorized party;
- The rifle has been used to shoot any non-factory ammunition;
- The rifle was built after 2018 but doesn’t have an accompanying warranty card;
- The customer submitting a warranty request is not the rifle’s original owner;
- The defect was subject to abuse, improper use not conforming to recommended usage guidelines;
- The defect was a result of damage incurred during shipping;
- The defect was subject to Force Majeure, such as acts of God, flood, lightning, earthquake, war, vandalism, theft, etc.
If the customer's rifle is not covered under warranty, Montana Rifle Company may offer repair services under the customer's payment.
Copy of the original purchase with warranty card is mandatory for the warranty. The warranty card must be filled out by purchaser/customer and returned to Montana Rifle Company (MRC) within 60 days of purchase for the warranty to be valid. The warranty card must be accompanied by a copy of the original purchase receipt in the customer’s name; the warranty is non-transferrable.
The limited lifetime warranty covers 6 months (180 days) from the date of receipt by the original purchaser/customer to clarify any accuracy issues with the rifle.
Any modification or outside service work on the rifle may void the warranty and the rifle may be returned to the customer; the customer is responsible for shipping charges on modified rifles.
Return for visual defects of the rifle (i.e. stock not the correct color, blemishes or scratches) is valid for Two months (60 days) after the purchase of the rifle.
Rifles returned to MRC without an approved RMA will be returned to the customer upon receipt.
Every Montana Rifle Company rifle is built to shoot under one MOA with a qualified shooter using match grade ammunition in ideal circumstances. If an MRC rifle will not shoot one MOA or better, then the customer may file a claim to have their rifle fixed or replaced. MRC will then perform an accuracy test to determine if further service is necessary. MRC accuracy tests are conducted at an indoor range with a bench rest using Match grade ammo from SAAMI-approved ammunition manufacturers. These ideal conditions allow MRC to ensure accurate results. MRC is unable to accept accuracy test results performed by consumers for warranty purposes. Please note that MRC cannot be held responsible for any accuracy or feeding issues resulting from the use of hand-loaded ammunition.
Before shipping a rifle to MRC, customers should ensure that it has been cleaned. If a rifle has not been cleaned when MRC receives it, then a $75.00 cleaning fee will be added to the cost of any rifle service and additional fees may apply towards parts and labor.
Shipping & Handling Charges:
Rifles purchased in 2018 or later require the warranty card to have been returned to MRC within 60 days of purchase and the rifle must be returned only by the warranty holder.

The customer will be charged for the return shipping in the event that the defect is not in manufacturing, the rifle is modified, or the warranty is not in effect.

MRC requires pre-payment of the additional cost prior to sending a rifle or a return label.

MRC can perform an accuracy certification test on your Montana Rifle in order to certify sub-MOA accuracy, for an additional fee. Certified rifles will be shipped with the targets used for that rifle’s accuracy test along with documentation of factory ammunition specifications.
